When the project is not felt “correct”

This object was one of those, in which the original plan just doesn't "fit". There were already formed rectangles with molding and canvas, there was selected vegetation, but something was missing - a soul. Customers felt it, that this was not "their garden" and invited us to reconsider the whole idea. We accepted with understanding and started from the beginning - with landscape design, according to the sensations, not only with the drawing.

From geometry to organic softness

The new scheme involved a breaking of rigid forms. Geometry gave way to natural ovals and freer lines. The vegetation, originally lush and colorful, it was simplified - with air between the accents, to "breathe" and stand out individually. The landscaping project developed literally on the spot – we selected the new plants together with the customers, and some decisions were born intuitively.

What the new landscaping included

• Sketching a new scheme and adapting the idea according to the client's feelings
• Reworking the existing one irrigation system
• Trenching of old and new moldings at ground level - for a fine and clean finish
• Laying of geotextile and filling with river gravel
• Arranged with large decorative stones for balance and structure
• Planting new decorative vegetation - simpler, but with character
• Delivery and laying of grass clippings in place of removed elements
• Construction of a path with natural stone steps and green decorative pebbles in the vegetable area

Sometimes a step back is actually a step forward

This project is a prime example of how yard landscaping doesn't always start and end as planned. Sometimes beauty is born from the courage to change what has already been started. The end result was a garden with character – simple, clear and steady, in which each plant has its role.
