When disappointment turns into new hope

Shortly after the New Year we received a call about an object, where there was once a pool. After years of legal battles, the place was filled with earth, and the memory of summer joy – completely gone. This, which we found on inspection, it was just land. And people were left with an empty place in their hearts. They were the reason why we took on this difficult project - to bring back the feeling of care and new life to the yard.

Complex terrain and even more complex responsibility

We worked on a concrete space between two buildings, in which there was minimal soil embankment (10–15 cm) and only in part of the area the possibility of actual planting. The challenge was not only in the field, and in the need to coordinate the desires of the near 60 the apartment. We prepared two options for a project – geometric and landscape. The residents chose the landscape, which we implemented with great care and adaptability.

What the performance involved

• Design in two styles, selection and approval by the condominium
• Clearing overgrown vegetation and digging up excess soil
• Construction of pavements with concrete slabs for occupant access
• Decorative path through the middle of the yard - for convenience and aesthetics
• Construction of an irrigation system and redesigning the existing pump with fluid control and expansion vessel
• Garden lighting with landscape effect
• Laying of geotextile and embankment with myth river gravel – an effective and economical solution
• Placement of 8 cm molding to create soft oval borders without harming the grass
• Planting, including in pots for areas without a soil layer

A change, which brings comfort

It was one of our most emotional sites. From utter disappointment to people's smiles, who started spending time in the yard again. Beauty doesn't always come easily, especially when it has to build on a history of loss.
